Ingenio By Tefal

The Ingenio concept is built around ingenious handles that attach and detach with just one click, allowing you to not only save space when cooking or storing them in the cupboard, but to really maximise the use of your cookware through versatility.  I received sent a set of 2 frying pans and two saucepans last week to try out for myself.

The Ingenio pans allow you to transfer your cooking from the hob to the oven and then direct to the table – all in the same dish.  Having only one handle means you are able to save space when cooking and when storing .

The Ingenio range fits easily into the oven and is not restricted by oven temperatures, so each item doubles as an oven dish.  The pans are Perfectly versatile: from hob, to oven, to table, to fridge.  The Titanium non-stick coating is extremely resistant and can be used with metal utensils (except whisks and knives)  Tefal’s Thermo-Spot heat indicator let’s you know when pan has reached optimal cooking temperature

You can purchase the hermetic plastic lids so that leftovers can be conveniently stored in the fridge or freezer with minimum fuss, also available are clear glass lids with foldable knobs for easier storage, and a straining lid that will fit all saucepans in the range.

Other accessories include a grill for healthy and beautifully grill-marked meals; a colander that fits perfectly in the 20cm saucepan; and a steamer insert with glass lid which will convert your Ingenio sautepan into a steamer.

I only received my pans a couple of days ago and have not had a chance to give them a proper test but I can tell already that they will be firm favourites when I’m cooking once I purchase the plastic and glass lids and a couple of the larger saucepans.

*Disclaimer – I am a Tefal Innovation Panellst and was sent the pan set for review purposes.  As always my reviews and thoughts are my own and I remain impartial.*
